Community coming together to assist in ensuring special needs students have an opportunity to learn life skills. This is what it is all about!! I found when I worked in special school it was not the maths marks they were able to achieve, it was the life and social skills they were able to overcome.I feel as thought socially these skills are just as if not more important than academics.
